The trick is to not want one! :gig Then you end up with two! I wouldn’t ever give these two hens to anyone for brooding, they are chick killers unfortunately. I would only use them for incubation and hatch the chicks out myself.

Yes, one killed my first chick from my favorite hen. :( Only one has done it but they are sisters, and the other hen will chase down anything that is smaller than her and attack it so not even willing to chance it.

I'm hoping to eventually have broody bantams
