On the BBQ pit.How do you want to cook them? Why whole? Are you pot roasting or BBQ?
Because the whole ones looked cute in that video I watched.
They looked better on the grill.
I have no clue.

I'm going to do it.I have to go work on a turkey pen, be back later. Don't psych yourself out. Plan what you are going to do and rewatch some youtube videos to make sure you feel comfortable with the process. You can do it.
This!If you are going to BBQ, cutting the spine out lets them lay flatter.
Ok I will cage the 3 tonight then.If I am going to process it's in the am, usually about 8... so I take the food away by 8 pm.. they are sleeping through most of the fast so they are just hungry in the morning.
are you going to use poultry shears to take off the head to dispatch them?Ok I will cage the 3 tonight then.
I am a nervous wreck.
I use a set of meat scissors, works pretty well.are you going to use poultry shears to take off the head to dispatch them?
There is a user here who breeds and raises them. @/speckledhen she also has a thread about them.

The Brahma chicks are here! The Brahma chicks are here!!! I ordered 3, then was worrying if they were all boys or all girls, so I asked if they had received any extras and there were 3 extra Brahmas sent! So I came home with 6 Brahmas and a White Rock, because they sounded cool. Now I'm just hoping they actually received Brahmas instead of Cochins, I haven't had either so not sure how to tell the difference as chicks.
The tall one in the middle is the White Rock. The others are supposed to be the blue partridge Brahmas, there are three that are gray and three that are multi colored, two of which have brown on their head. Did I get the right chicks?!
