➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Amazon has them for $80 normal price. How many did they have? NVM. I got to run this evening and will check the local one. I gave one of mine to the newly weds so I'm down to 7 Dutch Ovens. The smaller ones are enameled and work GREAT for tomato sauces.

You sound like a grumpy curmudgeon. My kind of gal! :thumbsup
They only had about 5 marked down along with a million boxes of wine glasses.
I hope there is one left tomorrow.

While I was stumbling around in the garden a few days ago, I stumbled across this. I set it on the sink so I would not have to try picking it up from the floor.

Big Moose - 78 lbs.

I also found these.

:lau Nope, I just feel comfortable, feeling comfortable. Nothing beats an old pair of cut offs & flip flops & graphic tee's are soooooo comfortable. I'm pretty sure I look like a slob that doesn't dress my age, but I just don't care. :bun :lau

Hey all! Just did an eggtopsy on one of my two Jap eggs that quit at apparently day 17 :(
Put them in Lockdown two days ago because they were supposed to be at day 18 on Thursday... Not really sure how they ended up being younger?? Maybe temps were low and slowed development.

Regardless the eggtopsy was cool. I also learned what happens when you forget to turn a lot; the embryo is more to the left right and top of the yolk than it should be.

Sounded good until you got to the flip flops. I prefer bare foot.

Played hide and seek in the cucumber patch this year. So much fun! Pumpkins are on the menu for next year. We have a request. Future son in law has never seen them grow. I hope it is dry enough next year for them.

I used to prefer barefoot too, but its too hard on my legs now. I like a good Fit Flop. They're the only flip flop I've found with a good, supportive sole. I can walk miles in these & my feet still feel good.

I prefer bare feet too but when I leave the house a thick flip flop is good.

Agreed! No way would I put those little .99cent things on my feet. We call those shower shoes here.
Those are what I think of when people say flip flops.
They need a new name...shower shoes is a good one.
:sick

I got your tag. In the photo, I see three Brahmas with partridge type coloring. I don't know what the bluish ones are. Where did you get them from? There are blue/black/splash Brahmas, but very unusual in this country. For that matter, partridge and blue partridge Brahmas are still considered import colors, still becoming more popular here, as in only the small boutique hatcheries have them. You'd have to wait until they are older to see what you have. Cochins will have single combs, Brahmas have pea combs, though at this age, they are so tiny, you have to have good eyes to see.
YAY! I'm so glad you were able to confirm I did get some Brahmas at least. I think I might make a thread about them and post pictures weekly to show them growing up.
