Nah you didn’t. Nothing really, just me being paranoid mostly lol

But sometimes my feet get kind of tingly or numb or whatever (hands too but I think that’s carpal tunnel) and it’s kind of worrisome but anyway so tonight I Googled it and was reading all this stuff about diabetic neuropathy or whatever and people who have their feet cut off and stuff, which I’d heard about before, but didn’t realize it was such a high number, like 20%, so anyway, then I was also paranoid because it has been a little bit swollen a couple times too including tonight and I’ve eaten a lot of sugar lately, like pints of ice cream, so I’m all paranoid I have diabetes and am gonna get my foot cut off or some severe infection or something so I was gonna take an epsom salt bathe cause that helped the swelling last time but then the tub took forever to drain (still some water and bubbles and weird stuff in from someone else earlier) and even after my albeit brief shower (cause I had some black salve in my back from earlier I wanted to wash off beforehand), it still wasn’t done draining, maybe clogged, idk, so I didn’t wanna wait nor clean it out, so I didn’t but decided to put some athlete’s foot cream on that was sitting there because I had read that it is not always diabetes, it can also be athletes foot, which I also have pretty bad, and have a while, and some other stuff, forgot kind of a key part of the story lol sorry, so anyway, I also read that so I thought okay might as well just treat it. I usually use the spray but couldn’t find any and figured cream may be better anyway. So anyway, VERY long story short (sorry for dragging it on so long  ), ever since I put the cream on, or at least once it kicked in, no more tingling. Or way reduced. It was mostly one part of one particularly bad toe anyway. SO. I think it MIGHT be athletes foot rather than full diabetes yet which is good as that’s easier to treat BUT that really scared me into wanting to change. Cause my blood sugar has been pretty high like almost prediabetic for like 2 years and I have changed NOTHING. In fact, I have gotten WAY worse lately. Especially since my birthday or before but especially then because of all the birthday cake because then a week later it was also my Mom’s birthday and then we had some Easter cakes too that we didn’t cut into until like way after Easter lol so it’s just been so much cake and ice cream lately. I keep buying ice cream. And idk, I just need to get like REALLY serious. I do not want to have my foot cut off or something. But it’s hard to. Idk. I have tried before and even the treating the athletes foot but everything I do I start for like a few days or maybe even a week but then I always stop and revert back to old habits and fail. :(
No more marshmallow cream.
Allow yourself 1 treat a day until you're no longer craving it. Don't cut it out completely or else you're more prone to binging.
Read nutrition facts on EVERYTHING before you put it in your mouth- it helps to keep yourself mindful. And drink A LOT MORE WATER. You should be peeing every 1.5-2 hours. You'll feel so much better by just increasing your water intake. It's hard at first but trust me on this. You're young, your body needs to last many more years and if you want it to take care of you, you have to take care of it. There is no getting around this. Go see a doctor- preferably a DO who has studied nutrition as well. Most MDs have not.
**mom rant over.

:barnie Damn tornado warning alarm on my phone just woke me. I'm watching the news and out my window now for one.

What is going on? Are you ok?
The thought of tornadoes FREAKS ME THE EFF OUT...I don't know how you people live like this. It's insanity.

Here's an interesting article I just read.

"Overall, van Loon points out, we break down and rebuild 1 to 2 percent of our muscle each day, meaning that you completely rebuild yourself every two to three months. This is a message, van Loon hopes, that might persuade people to think a little more carefully about what they put in their mouths."

I made this succulent arrangement a couple of years ago for a county fair and kept it because I love it.

Today, the Seramas decided it was a playground. I caught them at it while I was repotting some African violets, I didn't even pose this. This was all chickens being goofy.

Oh wow that’s awesome!! Makes it even better lol

Thanks!! I definitely need to work on that. And I actually haven’t touched the marshmallow cream in a bit but I have been eating and ice cream and stuff.

And I usually read everything before I buy it and sometimes don’t buy it because of that but I don’t really read it as I’m eating it. Maybe I should.

And all I drink is water, I don’t drink soda anymore and only sometimes drink prune juice which wouldn’t even be necessary if I ate vegetables lol

BUT.

I definitely don’t drink enough water I don’t think. Sometimes I chug a bunch. Other times I go literally hours without drinking anything.

And yeah, I definitely need to take better care of my body and get serious about this.

Today is national fitness day

My mom and brother controlled their diabetes by diet and exercise

Wow that’s awesome!

I love them! Food is powerful!

X2 and it def is.

Wow that’s a very interesting article!! I also liked this quote lol

“I usually put this in more obscene language,” van Loon says, “but you can mess up a lot more in one week than you can improve in six months of training.”

That’s from the bed rest study and how much muscle one patient lost in just that week. I definitely need to start exercising more. Cause I also just sit around a lot. I tend to get glued to one spot like a chair in the kitchen, chair in living room, edge of my bed, etc., even the toilet/bathroom because I get distracted by phone and get glued to all these spots sometimes for a long time. So I need to even just not be glued and get up and move around a little bit especially start walking more.

That was very interesting!
The human body is so amazing... the things it can do just astounds me!

My poor cat.
I just watched my BR bully her out of her own bed in the garage. My husband built these long carpeted ramps that he fixed to the wall and stop at each of the windows in our rv garage. At each window, we put the cat beds. I got home and noticed the BR was climbing up the side where my cat was laying. Cat was hissing and growling more ferociously with each step the chicken took (she's never so much as swatted at them though). Finally, she makes it to the cat bed, talks to Ruby (cat) as she's being growled at and puts her foot on the bed. Cat jumps off the bed and runs away, chicken makes sounds of celebration and sits down in the cat bed.
That's 4 for chicken/ zero for Ruby.
