We have Dolly's Imagination Library Books from Birth here (a free book mailed to your child every month for the first five years of their life). It's pretty fantastic, the hospital puts the first book and a sign up card in your baby gift bag.
That is cool.

I never heard that phrase before.
Might be a colloquial term too.

Storms are still train car running up from NW Texas diagonally across Oklahoma into Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri.
While the dry line moved quicker than anticipated there were a lot of touch downs west of us.
Good news....The storms are flattening out as they cross the cold front lowering the risk of super tornadoes as the storm tracts north...but the high temps below the cold front can still influence turbulence.

We got a good shower this morning and have been dry since but that will end soon. The whole line is slowly moving east as the storms travel NE.
We are still in a tornado and flooding watch.
We anticipate heavy rains thru the night.

12 chicks have hatched so far.

All the rain this year has created double bloom times for pollen and has increased mold counts.
I didn’t even think of mold. I wonder if that’s what’s been turning me inside out these last few months? I’ve never had such bad environmental allergies before.

Stay safe and dry! Sounds scary!
Age is no excuse! I am younger than Kiki and I know what a larder is. And a midden :D
Good girl CSA, amen and yea verily.
Hey, how are the bones?

:frow Things are pretty good. A weird creepy taxidermied owl has appeared in the lab. My boss must have dropped it off, but he won't say where it came from. We recently moved it to by the door to further unnerve visitors.

Oh my gosh, that is awesome.
My MIL and I have been talking about setting up a woman-cave/mad scientist den this summer. We want to get our hands on some chemicals and try out diaphonization and maybe taxidermy. We both have garbage bags in our cars for picking up potential specimens from the side of the road... :gig

Mad women of science unite! Your plan sounds awesome. There are plenty of items in professional labs (including mine) that come from roadkill. A scientist has to do what a scientist has to do :D
