When you're told you have 6 months left to live at 22 you smarten up real quick. I'll never take anything for granted again. It brought me closer to friends and family. Those who weren't meant to be in my life disappeared quick when I got diagnosed.

I love life! Especially farm life!

I really think the purpose thing is a big part of my problem. I don’t have one since I graduated. And don’t really have a schedule either. I think having a job will help with both of those and help me feel better.




I’ll have to try the fish oil. And do you take a vitamin d pill or just go outside a lot? I think I need to go outside more. Some days I don’t at all or more than like a few minutes. I don’t think that’s good and probably definitely isn’t helping.
I take a pill when it's been cloudy, which has been most of this year... take these in the morning/ early afternoon or they interfere with sleep. Fish oil is absorbed better with fats.. I eat eggs for breakfast.

also I really need to stop taking things for granted and/or start living myself.

For example, plenty of people can’t walk and/or don’t even have a yard and here I am with both and a million gorgeous places to walk too and I sit inside most days. :oops:

And most people don’t get to have as many animals as I do. Gotta start taking better care of them or at least visiting them/giving them more attention.

And I always act like I have so much time with the amount I waste
 
Strongly disagree. There are ways to cope without medication, although I’m not against it at all.
Either way surrounding yourself with a strong support system is critical.
I have to disagree since I'm someone who has severe depression. Nothing worked but medication. I tried for 4 years to cope with it and it only made things worse. But I'm not just dealing with depression I have other serious illnesses

I try to live every day like it's my last. I want to be happy when that day comes so if I complete everything every day I won't have to worry.
