We farm in a rural area, every so often dogs and cats just show up. Most we can reconnect with their owners. I've also helped people who had no other choices. I have nothing to do with rescue organizations.I have so many animals that we have rescued, it just makes me feel good on the inside knowing that they aren't sitting in a kennel waiting for their forever home. Some animals don't even get that chance to have a forever home.
When we adopted our beagle she was 3 years old and she was an outdoor dog. The day we brought her home we put up our Christmas tree and she stared at the Christmas lights all night long. She was so amazed by them. It made me cry like a baby.
There are some really interesting guinea feathers around.@R2elk, with your mad photography skills, you should enter the feather contest. Surely you have some good feather pictures.![]()

We live in the country and always have cats that visit. Most of our dogs come from the vet or CL. The ones most in need.We farm in a rural area, every so often dogs and cats just show up. I'm soright now. My favorite chick out of all of the ones that I hatched that I had outside was passed away in the coop
The only time I've ever dealt with losing a chick was when they got taken by predators. Now I'm being hard on myself
