What's the difference in taste between chicken and duck eggs? I've never had duck before
If you were to cook a duck egg in a frying pan.... the white part cooks up a little thicker than a chicken egg. The yolk is thicker as well, and of course there is more of it. Because of the thicker consistency, I find it to be richer and creamier. Think of it like a gravy that you thicken with a little cornstarch. Some people enjoy it, some don't because of that. Because the whites are thicker, if you overcook the egg it can be a little rubbery. Kinda like if you overcook shrimp. To me it's still edible but is so much better when cooked properly. If that makes sense. That is my view of duck eggs.
