These are shipped eggs so I have no clue how many birds per cage they keep.It's easier to deal with early quitters than to go thru the excitement of them hatching only to have them die within days due to some 'mystery' ailment. Your fertility rate is much higher than mine. 50% fertility is on the high end for me, perhaps because I keep so many hens per male (when I haven't eaten all the males, that is!)... My dogs don't mind the low fertility rate though. Every egg that doesn't develop by day 7 is turned into an omelet for the dogs to share. Bet that they wish I had a 100% fertility failure rate! LOL!

(Only 4-6 shipped, 12-15 homegrown) removed 24 clear and early quitters....left in 3 that I’m 99% sure early quitters. Attached pics of 3 eggs day 10....sorry my technique is not yet as refined as yours and little buggers were moving like crazy!!!!
