(Gar, how can we incorporate Jaxson? I want him to see what happens between Artemis and her brother.)

(Maybe they could say they need a guard just in case? I guess they would let him see this and trust him since this doesn't involve actually watching Artemis. So, how about let's just say he called in a guard ahead of time, and he didn't specifically request Jaxson, but that's just what he got.)

(I think that would work, silkie, are you good with that?)

"Wow, your face actually kind of stopped frowning for a little bit. I would say the s-m-i-l-e word but I don't really want to ruin this moment." Aya said, teasing slightly. It was early in the morning, and nobody had died yet, so she thought that just a little bit of teasing wouldn't hurt anybody.

"Well, if you say so, I'll just leave you two to it! And, no need to worry about me, I have a hunch that the C.M.I is fond of me. But, you two stay safe. I really loved talking to you guys, I hope I see you again soon!"
Timothy said all of this very quickly, and waved goodbye before walking out of the cafe on his own, smiling broadly from all of the socialization.
Mercy and Cassie stayed to finish their drinks, chatting with one another for a while before heading out to see more of the city together

"Artemis??" Amy was frantic now. She'd been through the whole upstairs, including the hiding place, and there was no sign of either of her friends. She had no idea whose blood was spilled downstairs and there was no one near the shop to ask. As a last resort, she pulled out her phone to call Jaxson.

Jaxson, completely oblivious to Artemis' presence in the building, continued his rounds. A buzz in his pocket and he pulled out his phone, which he had muted in case Vanessa went phone crazy again. A frown formed on his lips when he saw the name of the caller. He didn't intend to answer, but when she called a second, then a third time, he finally picked up. "Amy? Everything all right?" He asked quietly. Checking over his shoulder, he turned onto an empty hall.
(I'll have Max send him in if that's fine with you both)

"No, I don't think so," Amy said worriedly. She nervously bit her nail as she looked around the room once more. "I got home a few minutes ago and the shop is complete empty. And th-there's a pool of blood in the kitchen and—" she stopped there, on the verge of tears, letting Jaxson think what he wanted to.

Jaxson fidgeted with his watch as he listened anxiously. He was already headed for Max's office before she finished. "I'll find it what I can and get back to you," he promised before hanging up to quickly call Max.

Amy let out a sigh she hadn't been aware she was holding in. There wasn't any outside thing she could do about the situation for now, so she went to find rags and a bucket to clean up the blood. It was unnerving her and was way too much of a distraction to do anything else until it was gone.

Han turned to the cell's door as he heard a quiet knock, and beeping from the cell's code being entered.

"Oh! I think that's your little boyfriend at the door!" Han said sarcastically to Artemis, waiting for Mythe to walk in.

Mythe soon opened the door, walking in through a crack just big enough to squeeze through, and he gave Artemis a fake smile.
"Oh, hello! I am so excited to get started...Without any weapons or anything else fun." Mythe said, his mock of a smile quickly fading to a glare.

"Caden, get in here." Mythe said quietly, looking outside of Artemis's cell at somebody who hadn't come in yet.
Artemis backed deeper into the darkest corner of the cell as Mythe entered. She watched both men closely, but Mythe with more trepidation. His voice was low, but she thought Mythe spoke her brother's name. She quickly came to the conclusion she had misheard him, hearing what she wanted to instead of what was true.
