I doubt the Mango will ever produce fruit. The temperature in the greenhouse gets below the temperature required for it to bloom.

I have had pineapples bloom before but I have not yet found a reliable method to force one to bloom.

The commercial outfits know how to force them to bloom as can be seen by the small pineapple plants being sold with little pineapples on them.

The Mango is touching the roof.

Makes me sad to have to cut it off.

Moved the pineapple into the greenhouse.

Hopefully the heat will make it bloom.

The real advantage is that I now have an unobstructed view of the television.

The leaves of the mango remind me of my plumeria. After many years my plumeria got too big to move through the door. I had to drastically cut it back. Bonus was more plants. I gave many away.

Will the top of the mango root?

Reasonable rule. I already gave away one huge pineapple plant because I couldn't see through it.
