I did some more tracking (technically it’s air scenting, but it’s easier to say tracking) with Chase recently. He did really good. I had 4 kids hiding for me (a rare luxury) it was really good for him because I was able to hone in the scent discrimination more. That’s the part he needs the most work with. He was a little confused when I gave him different scent articles, but I could tell when he picked out the specific scent, especially when we went down wind. We were in a wild sunflower field that came up to my waist. So everybody was able to crouch down out of sight. I was very please with his progress!!

Thanks! They are so cute! Is the Dogue De Bordeaux you said liked to hang his head out of the window?
Yes! he is the Dogue De Bordeaux!
Thats cool! What do they plan to do with the scent training? Is it just for fun?
It's just for fun! Otherwise she would've done agility but he's too big for the tunnels! 😂😂

Scent work is probably the easiest and more fun way to wear out Tucker. He has a hound nose i say. He cant track without his nose touching the ground and find what i hide.
We are at a mile away tracking.
