Thank you. She's a little ... socially retarded, as she spent most of her first 3 years in a kennel as a breeder. But this breed is so gentle, so loving, that it did not ruin her, at least not completely. She is very bonded to me and is most content, secure and fulfilled when she can be near me. That is the essence of a Golden, they must have someone to love. And that is why we love them. There are exceptions, but a vicious or aggressive Golden is an anomaly and should NEVER be bred.

Wow, is she a rescue then? My neighbor has a 16 year old american pit bull terrier x staffy rescue who had 8 known litters and lived her whole life on a chain constantly getting bred But now she has a much better life which is good

My Jenny's a licker, too.

Lily doesn't normaly lick but sometimes she has these licking 'fits' where she goes for your hand or body part and just licks away!
