That’s good! Chase would love agility, but I don’t have access to it.

There's lots of exercises you can start teaching from home with no equipment, yt has lots of helpful vids. I'm going to be doing agility with my lab and we are really just working on no equipment exercises right now. You can teach them to go left or right, leave your side and run ahead, go around objects, etc all necessary stuff to do agility anyway. Sorry to butt in lol

Oh thats a shame You could home-train him I'm sure there is heaps of things on youtube and stuff, I made my own jumps as well.

Yeah, I could. I just assumed all of the equipment wouldn’t be easy to make and expensive. Those are so cute!! That first one looks like the ones I got of Chase! I like her expression in that one better though. She looks SO happy! I really like the third one too

We lost both our dogs last year (JRT and Chihuahua). I decided when we're ready for another doggy I'd love to get a Golden.
So last fall I contacted my cousin who breeds them, and I asked her if at some point in a year or two she might have an opening in her puppy list and we would drive up (to Kentucky) to get one. Then I asked, "and is there a cousin discount? hehe"
She responded, "You couldn't afford one." full stop.
She could easily have said "Sorry, no discount, but I'd love to see you!" or "Well I have to charge xyz but perhaps you can wait an extra year to save up the full amount"... I wouldn't have argued.
But she had to be all mean and make assumptions, so now I'm not speaking to her.

Definitely going to get a Goldie someday anyway! But right now I don't think our two kitties would be happy. They've settled into dogless life, lol.

Wow, that was a little blunt! but, yeah, a responsible breeder who takes care of puppies and does dna and hip/elbow checks charges a pretty penny for their puppies. I hope you find a different breeder! And I can’t wait to see pictures, please post them here. I’m sure your kitties will get used to a sweet golden, our cats LOVE my golden. Way more then he loves them They will walk up to him and rub on him and he shys away. But I got this cute picture

Precious! I would love a golden, but right now we have a needy rescue German Shepherd that likes cats more than other dogs, so maybe next dog!

Will do! I have adored Golden's since I was a toddler, and would love to own one. You just can't beat them for temperament! There was a golden mix at my local shelter that I volunteered at a while ago and he was an angel. If our shepherd weren't so overprotective, I would've tried to adopt him. But I settled for helping him enjoy his time in the shelter until he was adopted by a seemingly lovely lady. I'm sure they're getting along very well.

If you end up really wanting to do it you can get some sets on Amazon too, they usually have like 2 jumps, a tunnel, and a set of weaves. I have a set but am just working on some basics now
