Wow! What a great painting! I haven't had much experience with pricing my own paintings, so I usually just copied what other artists of my skill level sold 😅. But I did see an interesting pricing method where you multiply the base length (cm) x height (cm) x artist prestige (skill level). Most artists that I personally know base their prices on the time they took on their painting and the supply cost, (i.e if you 'charged' yourself 20 dollars per hour and took 10 hours to paint the base price would be $200, and then you would add on however much the supplies cost you).

Maybe someday I will feel confident enough to have it cost that much, but not at the moment! 😅

Hello, my name is Cheri.
I have always loved to draw. I love pencil sketching and watercolor, but want to expand. I am a retired art teacher and graphic artist.
My goal is to exercise my creativity more and look forward to the prompts. My husband has helped me create an art loft in the barn.
My favorite work is this drawing of a little girl. I did it for my grandmother because I imagine she probably looked like this when she was a baby. My mom had the drawing next, and now I have it back. It connects me to both of them.

It's a gorgeous drawing! I love how expressive the eyes are!

Here are a few of my favorite miniatures I've painted. I used collect the Lord of the Rings figures to play LotR Strategy Battle Game, but don't know anyone who plays anymore. The cats I just bought because they looked fun to paint.

Penny included for scale.
