Right I’m with both of you a Ee or silkie. My Ee is so sweet but I love the looks of silkie.

My small momma silkie went after my Ee for no reason other than she has been away from the group and she was standing next to the food dish ( the chicks were not near them). The first two times she let the silkie get away with it. The third time she let her know who was the boss. Silkie was missing a few feathers and ran away and my Ee let her. Can’t wait until my momma silkie gets her sweet personality back.

Here’s my sweet Ee.

Easter Eggers. I like the fact that they come in all sorts of colors and can lay eggs of different colors, plus all the ones I've had have had great personalities.
The smartest ones in my flock, by far, and so personable. Though, when they molt, they molt *hard* and long (at least mine do). My Barred Rocks are better layers though, and very sweet to me but quite bossy with the other flock members. My EE's don't seem to pick on anyone. I'll have to go with Easter Eggers. :)

I like the eggs! So, red sexlink. Or, leghorn. Interesting that I ran across this question. I just had to place all of my hens. :( Circumstances here at home......but I've been thinking I may get 2 hens this spring. Man, those eggs from the store! Yellow yolks. Not as nice or orange and thick as mine were. Anyway, I miss my girls too. I've hatched sooo many breeds. I love the silkie and bantam cochins..for my bantys. Love the EEs..never know what color you will get..and love the blue or olive eggs. I'm not feeling well today, so have been visiting around here on BYC..posting photos. Here are some of my favorite past breeds. First olive egger/EE..and her egg.

I even hatched ducks for fun..and quail once. Caught these cute webbed feet while candling a duck egg. Hatched them out for a friend whose mama had been sitting, but then...a racoon.. :(

Got a couple of her eggs to hatch. Well, I've gone and done it...hijacked your post! But have to say thanks. Had fun going through photos of my chicks and hens. Man I miss them.
