at 12 weeks it's cockerel..a pullet would not get that color to closer to 16-18 weeks.

Too bad you can't keep him! We've got a light Brahma roo and he is so docile and friendly with my kids and I, yet he's very protective and caring of his girls! Beautiful birds!

I know...he sits in our laps and eats from our hands. My kids love him! He is very cool...he'll just be too loud when he starts crowing. I wasn't convinced he was a cockerel because his feathers don't look as skinny and pointy as yours, but I am new at this and am by no means an expert. I'm in Missouri if you know of anyone that will want him.
