12th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along
Hatching Chick Photo Contest​

Welcome to the contest. This contest is for pictures of chicks, ducks, emus, quail, or any other poultry species hatching. At least one of the birds must be at least partway in the egg still.

It's easy to enter, just post pictures of your hatchlings in this thread and you will be entered for a chance to win!

Contest rules:

1. All domestic hatching fowl are eligible (chickens, turkeys, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, waterfowl, pheasants, emu, etc).
2. At least one of the birds must be at least partway in the egg still.
3. Must be your picture of your hatchling
4. All entries must be submitted/posted to this thread.
5. Three entries per member (an entry is one picture per post).
6. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC sponsored contest.
7. No people allowed in the photo (no fingers, hands, arms, etc).
8. The picture needs to have been taken by you.
9. No overly-edited images—basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
10. No watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
11. Extra consideration for picture quality.
12. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
13. Open to all BYC members. Staff & VPMs may enter for fun but are not eligible for prizes.
14. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
15. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
16. Entries will be accepted until TBD at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

The first-place prize is this beautifully handcrafted pen (one pen) made by BYC's @Pensmaster. This pen was made from the oak trees on his property! ​
