13 year old boy told he cant fly flag on his bike...

What the sam hill is that supposed to mean?

I think he's trying to make a joke about the fact there is no longer a space program and the fact that North Korea attempted to launch an 800 million dollar rocket last week that blew to pieces in mere seconds. He wants me to die.

Cupman tends to argues over things that he either would not do as in this case or is impractical. It reminded me of a joke about the the new Obama Space Program wanting to land a rocket on the sun, someone said it was too hot and the pilot said he would land at night...

I have an eye for fallacies and double standards. Hear me out..

In one thread you will cite the constitution up and down and tell us how the government can't force us to buy anything(health care mandate) but in the very next thread you are suggesting it should be illegal to fly any flag other than the American flag. That's a free speech issue, the first, and most important, amendment to the constitution.

Now let's talk about news sources. You will link us conservapedia.com, thedailycaller, or websites/blogs titled things like "obamawatch." but then complain about the lack of neutrality of other peoples' links.

Truthfully I wish I didn't have to call you out over things like this.. Capvin does a much better job. But he's probably busy right now.

Cupman, it is not about me, hello? the laws to protect the flag are for the integrity of the flag not to encapsulate my opinion, hello? Without protection it is just a cloth. Just as if the Constitution without enforcement is just a paper.

I think what you are referring to as free speech is freedom of expression which is a legal theory squeezed out of the first amendment by some.

I think you really need to reread my post or I may have to rewrite it to accommodate your intellect. It is just as misunderstood by you as you thinking I want you to really die when I post something as humor. Do you really think I want you to die? or anyone for that matter? really? You may need Capvins' help here. Sorry but I am not a manpleaser.

What in the world are you talking about? There are no laws protecting our flag. You are insulting my intelligence but I can guarantee you that this time you are wrong. Flying any flag is all protected by free speech. Speech doesn't mean a spoken word. You are taking the term much too literally. Risque artwork is a form of free speech. Maybe not everyone likes the particular art but the second anyone tries to censor it they will be shut down based on the artist's right to free speech.

So instead of rewriting the post to accommodate my intellect perhaps you should first understand the subject in which you are arguing.

The Supreme Court has said that BURNING the American flag is a form of free speech, The flying of the flag DOES have certain protocols- it should be the highest, should be lit if flying at nite,etc... While I have the greatest respect for OUR flag( the stars and stripes ) and for all the men and women who have died or been wounded defending it, I have no problem with someone flying another country's flag in the U.S.!

I have heard of the Obama Space Program. Isn't it that very large space between the ears of those who really despise him and will go to all lengths to make up things about him? Also being from Seatle I am aware of where Oregon is, but is Western Oregon part of the US? Some of the things I have read seem really foreign to me.

Several states still have laws on the books concerning flag desercration, whether they are enforcable is another topic.

Try posting risque art here on BYC and see how protected it is.

None of them are enforceable and your constitutional rights are not protected when you agree to sign up to a privately owned webpage. You're really reaching. Let's just consider this subject beat to death and move on. Maybe you can give an update on the backpack story in the other thread.
