There is more than one prize, so enter!North Carolina to Missouri. Coast to coast has me beat.
You can post updates here but final numbers should be kept somewhatDo we post updates on eggs here, or no?
This contest is for eggs shipped to you that will hatch between 4/1 & 4/16.Oh dear, nope! I'm already in enough trouble with the ones I have. No more eggs for me![]()
Enter here:Oh cool! So let's call it 100 miles then. It's about 50 miles each way from here to there!![]()
I was gonna do an update on my first batch of 7 chicken eggs.You can post updates here but final numbers should be kept somewhatfor the sake of contests and sent directly to me. (Although it would be difficult for someone to cheat
I’ve got access to the spreadsheet and I can’t give an accurate count yet
)
Can you send me a conversation to verify the number type and date set so I can double check my entry??After a few different attempts with different flashlights, I finally candled the eggs! I was able to pull out two duds. One was an early blood ring and the other was an undeveloped yolk (both confirmed by cracking them open). As I was putting the rest of the eggs back in the incubator I dropped a good one, such a sad moment! The rest are very active so fingers crossed for a successful hatch in less than 2 weeks!
Sorry to laugh, but I’ve had that happen so many times!.
Just a hint with broody candling……i throw my incubrite in my jacket pocket and Ive gotten candling pics and video before it’s even dark out. Less chance of dropping an egg by trying to bring it in the house to candle
