Just candled my Orp eggs again this morning and pulled out a few more quitters so now I’m down to half my set # and still have one questionable left to figure out. Hopefully they all make it… How’s everyone else’s doing so far?

I'm doing better than I thought with my initial bunch. For a while, I thought most of them were duds. Turns out my candler was the dud! Changed the battery in it, and VOILA! Viable eggs!

I drove 2 hours to my favorite farm, but the eggs themselves were not actually "shipped".

Well another batch set this afternoon. Little late for the Easter hatch-a-long but new Incubator arrived, 12 more Barnevelder X started! Still excited!

Candled, pulled clears, and I'm still stacked. Guess my fertility problems are over.

Best news of all, 2 of my pullet eggs are developing and another is in the dubious category.

stacking is one of those things that you hate but also hate having to remove. I’m down to 26 in my 360, grateful but not at the same time!

Yes, exactly.

The hand-turning is a royal pain, but since I'd only been getting about 75% fertility I filled it generously.

I usually candle on day 10, but tomorrow I’m on day 7 and I’m sooooooo tempted to take a peek.
