19 and a half weeks old and still no eggs :( egg countdown anyone??

Yes, they are the plastic eggs for kids. It has been really hot here and has finally been cooling down at night (you can feel fall in the air). Chickens are such goofballs!

Went from NO eggs on August 11th from my 9 girls, to the first 2 eggs laid August 12th, to 9 eggs from 9 girls TODAY!! Less than a month of waiting for the last layer to start. Thanks for letting me share.

I feel exactly like this little guy!!

My Golden Comet laid a perfect, unblemished brown egg. It's gorgeous.

That is beautiful! How did you do it?

The stones are just plastic stick ons and I used a sharpie pen for the rest! I penciled in the design first so I didn't make any mistakes...it was fun to do! I think I'll do a few more and gift them as Christmas ornaments to my friends and fam....from the CRrrrrAAAaaazyyy egg lady!

I googles egg art though and there are some craaazy good hand painted eggs out there, pretty awesome.
