2-Free Silkie Roosters-Hamilton, Missouri

I have two free silkie roosters. I have too many and need to thin out.
All are very pretty but way to hard on the few silkie hens I have.
One is a lavender satin, the other is a black satin with reddish orange hackle feathers. Hour drive from Kansas City, Missouri, 30 min. drive from St. Joseph, Missouri.

I’m sorry but your first boy is definately not lavender, he has to be blue. He is gorgeous tho!

We have a beautiful blue rooster he is not nearly as dark a blue, so I would say a lavender, either way he is beautiful. Both are already gone to a great home.

Thank you, I actually have a pen that is all boys, but what I don't keep are duplicate colors. These are given away to help others who want to expand their own colors. The site is very helpful and it is fun to talk to others also in the poultry world. Even if you can't agree on colors.

I only say that because I have lavenders and they are super light an all one uniform color without the darker shades on the hackles and tails. Blue can come in many shades so that’s why I suggested blue is all. Glad they found good homes.
