I'm really scared, Acre.

I can't wait.

thowe and AK button mama.. I am mailing your blocks today. I hope you like them. I enclosed a label and the paper is still attached to the back for you to use if you'd like. Just remove the paper backing, press and then you can either sew it to the quilt or fuse it. Does anyone know if you have to spray it with a fixative to make it permanent?

gumpsgirl..those blocks are gorgeous as are all the other blocks I've seen so far. Mine aren't up to that level of competence or creativity but I am having fun.

HorseJody, I'm still figuring yours out. Dont worry, I'll get it. As soon as I find a pattern that doesnt shrink when I cut the fabric. Somehow, I get the corners right, the middle right, its the parts surrounding the middle and inside the corners that shrinks on me!

If anyone is close to the Greenwood Arkanas Walmarts...they are closing out the fabric dept. there.
ALL FABRIC...is 1/2 off!!! The saleswoman told my mother...anything they cut...1/2 off....

Tell that fabric to mind it's manners too!

Hehe, I'm tickled at that one!! I just wanna hug you ALL!!!

As far as the fabric minding it's manners, that's where a good machine helps a lot. A good machine doesn't mean it costs a thousand dollars or more, some really inexpensive ones keep a nice steady feed, good tension on the thread, and are easy to regulate speed on. What are the best ones? ...well, we're all different, and have different styles and different needs, so go to some different fabric stores that sell different machines, and try em all out. You will like one that I hate, and hate one that another person loves. Kinda like how we all feel different about Turkins and Silkies and Leghorns or Giants or OEGs!!!

I think it can go on for a while.
BUT: Acre - do you want to start a new thread for March sign-ups?
I'm going to out of the country for a few weeks, so I will have to skip March, but I'll be back early March and can take over again if Acres would like???
