2014 Crochet square swap, colorful circles.

I did up one of the small circles up last night with a K hook, just to see if it measures up. Turned out exactly 6"; now to get them to all turn out that way. Did you FO the main color (like the instructions) and then start the white or did you just continue by adding the white till the end?

Small circle are one color with white, correct?

The colored circle can be one or more colors as long as if they are multiple colors they are arranged light to dark. I FO'd all color changes and tied off to secure. When I did multiple rounds of the same color I didn't FO until the color change. I've done the small circles in 1 and 2 and 3 colors, just playing around w/ look and lay out.

I think the simplicity of the pattern and the white border is going to make all the colors really pull together and look good together.

Good news, I talked my son into it Sign me up for one more!

I'm hoping this will be a fun bonding thing we can do together. Its been a rough year for us and God knows we can use some down time together!

So what do you think? Most of the squares will be these colors. Unless I run out of them or you don't like them Kassaundra. I reduced my hook size since the square was just a tad bigger than 6".

I like it very manly circle square.

I think I have 8 large and small blocks finished. I had to get a new sewing machine mine finally stopped so can't work on the quilt I have started, so I'm crocheting squares. I might make extras, I have a niece graduating soon this may make a good dorm room size blanket for her.

I'm so excited! My husband has to have surgery next week and will be in the hospital for about a week. I was looking for a project to keep me busy while we are there, and this will be perfect!
