Busy weekend, but I just checked and I have 1 with an ext. pip and the other is peeping so it has an internal pip. Hoping I get 2, final weight loss on both was 11.25%.

Of my 13 eggs due on 5-24, six have hatched and four more are pipped. I saw movement in two of them when they went into lockdown that I don't expect to hatch as the air cells were not looking right. One looked like it did not lose enough moisture and the other looked rotten even so, there was still movement in there.

First chick of the season, IB split white, split Bronze and split BS.



Very easy unassisted hatch, clean as a whistle. Wish they all could be so easy.

Congrats! I love unassisted hatch, this week all the newly hatched chicks look fine, only one needs help with toes.

By the way, its the third time this year i forgot to put the leg band on a chick before getting it out of the hatcher, now i have three BS chicks still don't know from which pens they came
