I have three babies 
e One looks just like everyone pictures chicks, a cute little yellow ball of fluff. The other is the same except you can tell that my ayam cemani rooster Raptor fathered it because it has a dark wash down its legs and a dark little face. The third is a total mystery chick, and it's got quite an interesting head shape. Pictures tomorrow!
And, it turns out that Snap's eggs did not all die. A quick candling revealed seven survived, so these babies are all mine to raise, she'll just have to hatch her own. And it would appear I now have another broody on the nest next to her
The other eggs are pipped and should hatch tomorrow, so I will finally have my Halloween babies! The CCL/Ayam Cemani cross has quite the set of lungs on it - it was hollering at me from inside its shell while I was checking on the already hatched babies.
