All right, stupid question... I am getting 12 eggs tomorrow, after I let the air cells set, in what direction do I fill the automatic egg turner. I know the eggs go small end down, but my turner holds more eggs then I am getting and not sure if I should from middle out, or one side to another or around the outside. Please help clearify.

I start from the middle and work my way out, I just try to keep the eggs evened out. Like 3 or 4 on each row.. Depends on however many eggs I get. I think it's just person preference though.
Do something like this but rotate them every couple of days--Incubators will still have temperature differences in spots.

Should I have gaps I between them or keep them next to each other?
Keep them next to each other. Some experiments have found that they will hatch better if the touch. The thought is that there is some sort of communication between the chicks that helps them.

I'll put 2 or 3 together then skip a hole then do 2 or 3 more, believe it's whatever you prefer.
If I'm doing a mixed batch like I am now.. I group my lavender ameracaunas together, group lavender orpingtons together, and my wheaten ameracauna by itself because I only have 1. The app won't let me upload a picture.

I found this but it seems so huge. Where would I install it in an LG?

ETA It is 5" x 5" x 2". I measured the incubator and unless I make a cut it won't fit.
