Today is Spina Bifida Awareness Day..I have a son that was born with this birth defect.

Back in the 80's, it was the number one Birth Defect. Today, the social awareness has come around more!

He now does a lot with youtube.

He also helped Lindsey Sterling with her ads on youtube. She is better known now, and has her own CD and does tours.

There, did my bit for Spina Bifida. I was big into it back in the 80's. I helped get Oct. become Spina Bifida month back then, and I got the newspapers to write an article about it every yr...with a photo of him.. they loved seeing his progress every yr. Anyone expecting..or going to try and become pregnant? Please, take your prenatal vitamins! Eat your leafy greens. After I helped with a 5 yrs. study, this is what they came to as to what will steer you clear of this birth defect.

Yaay, it's about time, they took their sweet time after a pip. Actually, I don't remember how long they've been pipped.

Feeling excited for everyone! Within the week I will be preparing to process some cockerels, Clean out and move a quarantine coop, prepare a spot for the chicks that need to move out of the brooder to make room for any that hatch this week, sew Halloween costumes, ....
