and Cabelas Hamburg PA is right down the interstate from us

and I am sure a million other stops along the way! thats not a long drive for chickens

or puppies for that matter, just that I cant find any up that way right now

He might be alright with that, he'd want to visit his old Navy base in Connecticut. Though he'd rather ship them, haha. I told him about you eggs, and he was "Autosexing, giant blue egg laying chickens, why don't we just have those!?"

thats right, you had to switch them over to the other bator right? your air cells looked good like you were on track for day 18 then? sorry I am having trouble keep up so many people! 

They did, I had two I could clearly see veins and 4 that had a large dark area, air cell, but I could not make out the veins, doesn't mean they weren't there I just could not see them. So very anxious if any of them will hatch after the shananaghs

. I guess I should stop worrying and let nature do what it will. I did just read to open the vent a little to let oxygen in, I will do that when I get home.

And I don't expect anyone to remember one poster when there are a bunch of us. You have been very helpful in the past Sally so I would welcome any insight you might have.

I'm a horrible aweful person! I just dropped the flash light on an egg and cracked it open it had a beautiful baby chick in it and now it's lost because I couldn't leave things alone. No more itchy fingers here I'm not opening the incubator again until thursday, the day after hatch.

ok, sometimes they can get very hard to see later on too.

There isnt much you can do for them but let them do their thing, assistance is not going to be needed at this point. you need to just keep the bator closed and wait and see what happens for now.

I will pray you have some pips soon! What flashlight were you using again? your cell or do you need a better flashlight to see into them? or are they really dark eggs?

Pullet I hatched from some expensive eggs in 2013 I think it was... the hatch just cracked me up they all had double crest gene I swear!
and dark dark crests! I had to sell them, but they were so cute, all the locals just grabbed them right up!

Thank you I'm going to look up all the breeds now that are auto and order eggs soon. I did feather sexing.......not too hard........I did vent sexing......same,, not too hard but this makes it a piece of cake and the red sex links...........I never bought any and thankful now due to the generation loss...........I flunk tests........I have CRS. Can't Remember "S"
