Thank you. Yeah I'm on the mend still a lazy day today other than caring for all my babies. Thank you all for caring you truly are a wonderful group of people and I'm so glad to have met you. Not to pry but im not familiar with that what is ckd? If I never get another uti or kidney infection it would be too soon. Lol just glad to know I'll feel better soon. It's rough I'm not one for naps or anything and yesterday I just completely zonked out.
As for my floppers technically it was 21 because three arrived broken they were a surprise gift of Buttercup hatching eggs from my dear Hubby to be as that's his nickname for me and we've wanted some white eggs but also nothing against leghorns but we didn't just want production birds. Anyway they were purchased off ebay and the first twelve only nine made it here the first box was in perfect shape but they were shatteredand they weren't all even in a row or anything. The buyer reshipped another dozen for free(10 Buttercups and 2 partridge rocks) and again every single air cell was trashed. On day 7 we candled and surprisingly they looked good and day 8 we candled some(which turned into all) for my Mom to see as she had missed the day before. All but about 6 total had quit overnight and only two made it to lockdown or I thought they did but I now believe they had quit about day 16-18. I was of course very upset but a woman from the Illinois thread had a hen go broody and hatch seven chicks, one was taken by a predator at a couple days old so I received 3 pure black 50% English orps(1 cockeral hope only 1), 2 ccl/black orp mixes (1 crested pullet and 1 cockeral), and 1 chick that was white that I think may be turning splash I'm hoping it's a pullet as its mother layed pink eggs
