Lacie goose is joining us all in hatching, it seems. She went broody on no eggs, silly bird. But Jasmine laid one and she took it, so that one's all hers.

Thank you! I was reading everything and never got to this. LOL I'm a little confused though, when he puts his head down to the ground is he being submissive? He does that a lot lately but he's hissing while doing it. I had no problems from him yesterday, he didn't come near me until I was filling the pool but he kept his distance instead of jumping in and coming at me like the other day. Next time I will be chest bumping his little butt before pinning him. I have no problem with the girls, I think they're scared of me. I'm thinking the last owner was afraid of them, he used a net and put something over their faces to load them up and even wore gloves. They don't scare me at all. BTW snakes are now out, I moved a rock and got a surprise, thank God it was only a ringneck (so cute and yes I'm crazy)!

I like snakes too, as long as I see them. LOL or they are going after my tiny chicks then I pick them up and take them down the road. haven't seen any yet. We don't even kill Copper heads unless one is where we have too.

Sam does his head down and hisses and it usually means a threat. Boy they can be such big stinkers.

Leonardo is keeping his distance still but if I'm weeding the flower bed he tries sneaking up. I heard him coming and acted like I didn't know and when I thought he was close enough I jumped up, put my arms out and started running after him making growling noises. It scared him enough to make him go a different direction than me the rest of the day, I felt bad since I was all over the place and he had to keep moving. Good thing the neighbors are far away and cannot see the craziness.

Too bad we're not neighbors, I have quite a few she could sit on since my girls are too busy competing for the males attention.

I know we do some crazy stuff to keep the peace and to keep from being bitten. Maybe candid camera would like some videos??

Good for you on getting his attention .

Well, all this talk of hatching is giving me the bug. I started gathering eggs and will probably fire up my bator later this week. I only plan to set a half dozen dewlap eggs, since I already have a trio of baby cochin chicks ordered through my feed store which will arrive next Friday, as well as two broody geese that will likely hatch babies. Spring is such a wonderful time of year!

I have seen some funny YouTube videos of geese chasing people, maybe there needs to be some of people chasing geese.
