2017 Gosling Hatch a long!!

Pics
Very cute! My guess on breed would be pekin and rouen, but you will be able to tell better when they feather out.

Keep an eye on that crested one. Cresting is a lethal gene if they get more than one copy, and it can cause all kinds of neurological issues, so just keep your eye on her. It is also is covering a gap in the skull (being crested causes the gap), meaning she is very susceptible to brain damage, so if she ends up being a female you'll probably want to set her up her own separate pen with just other girls if you end up with a drake or two. They can really injure her if they grabbed it and yanked on it while mating with her.
Oh no! I hope it's a male, I had no idea and thought it was a breed like those cute little chickens with the fuzzy tops. I'm glad this was the only one, I was trying to find more. Thank you for letting me know, hopefully I figure out gender before it's time to mate. I've noticed the little things climb all over each other a lot, should I separate them so it doesn't get hurt?

The crest can help differentiate breed, but not by much, and definitely not gender. Gender is much easier when they're grown, because males have a curled feather on the tail. Your ducklings remind me of my American Pekin and my Snowy Mallard, since they're both yellow as ducklings.
How long does it take to tell which breed they are? I know nothing about ducks and am just learning about geese, chickens are so easy minus walking outside and being attacked for food, they always expect something but they're not into mango at all. I think bananas are their favorite and then cantaloupe. Spoiled little dinosaurs!

The brown ducks are definitely Rouens, only Rouens have those distinctive markings that I know of. I do agree that your ducklings are most likely Pekins, but it'll become apparent in 5-8 weeks, most likely. If you have any questions about geese, either, feel free to contact me.

9 eggs so far from my Tufted Roman, Ethel. Still can't find Stormy's nest or the 3 young ones nests. They are sneaky. If I don't find them soon I will probably have a late start on incubating anything. I don't want to have a hatch of just Ethel's eggs, they would be predominantly white. I've never had nests to go this long without being found.

The bunnies are doing great, they were 2 weeks old yesterday. Getting big! I thought I had two white, but one turned out to be caramel colored(red in rabbit terms). I believe All have the Rex coat, now just waiting to see which direction the ears go. Didn't get any new rabbits from the guy that was going to sell some to me. He turned out to be a jerk, was afraid I would be competition. 2 hours apart & im raising crossbreeds, how is that competition lol oh well, he's not the only one with rabbits out there.

Thank you so much, you are so sweet!

Mine just still aren't laying at all, ugh. I'm wondering if the geese in this area just haven't started laying yet or if it's just my brats. I'll have to look back and see when they started laying in previous years.

Mine are laying but will only sit on them for 2 hours maybe twice a day. Is this normal? I don't think they can stay warm to hatch. I've been looking at incubators and it's giving me a headache. I'm trying to find one with the turner, air flow and the digital themostat which also shows humidity. Do I really need all this? I've been glued to Amazon.com for days reading reviews, it seems the Hovabator is highly recommended but dang they get expensive! I'm open to all suggestions!

Oh I forgot to ask how long can eggs sit without mother and not go bad...I'm thinking I might fry them up for the dogs since they started laying a month or so ago.

How old is the gander? I don't remember if you told us the age, sorry. If he's young it might take him a few tries. To know for sure, you can crack one of the eggs and look for a small bullseye on the yolk, that means they are fertilized. Knowing would save a lot of time, would be a shame if they started sitting and the eggs weren't fertile.
You don't have to spend hundreds on an incubator. I have 2 Little Giant incubators, one is almost 20 years old & is still working like a new one. My other one is about 4 years old, also works great, I only paid $50 for it at Tractor Supply. I can get 22-24 goose eggs in each of them. I have seen them at some places, priced at $100. If you have a Tractor Supply in your area try finding one there. Recently ours had their Little Giant incubators on sale for $38 and they were digital now.
OMG! I knew I saw something about incubators in here!! So it's Little Giant that is a good brand, I was thinking someone said not to get it. Time to get back on Amazon since I deleted all those. UGH! I'm driving myself crazier than I already am! LOL
