2017 Gosling Hatch a long!!

Pics
Yay Nannette!! So kinda weird thing, but my egg is wiggling around this morning, still no peeping. I wanted to candle to see if I could see anything, but decided best to let her get on with it. I'm fairly certain the other 2 will not be hatching. Today is day 34 for variety of breeds.

Seeing pics of day old babies is making me itch for more, but with my numbers up 32 geese, I should probably wait until next year.

Oh, also my phone is doing the same error again which means another factory reset, possibly trade it in. Ugh.

Congratulations!
Assisted hatching is awesome and awful at the same time. Lololol

Glad he made it out safely!
So 4/5 eggs hatches for you then?
Aw thanks. Our of the 4 eggs that made it past day 14, all 4 hatched. Not a bad result for a first attempt!

Mine wiggled without peeps for about a day. They seem to wiggle when internally pipping but it takes a while for their lungs to mature and make a noise I think. Wiggling is a really good sign though!! :fl

What gorgeous geese! You should definitely have more;):lau
Thanks so much for all the advice Iain throughout all this - you've been very patient and a real star :hugs

Thanks! The adults are recovering nicely after breeding season/sitting, but still look shabby to me. I love how the goslings are best buddies since one is a dewlap toulouse and the other is a wild Canada goose. Very unusual pair.

Glad to support you during hatching. I understand how stressful it can be when starting out.
