2017 Gosling Hatch a long!!

This is what it looks like. Can't hear anything (but my refrigerator is also really loud and I don't want to wander around the house holding it (because I'm pregnant and clumsy)

The clicking starts off really faint and sporadic then gets louder and more rhythmic as they get good at breathing.
Can you see gentle movement when you look for a while? It might still be working at the membrane. Be patient!

Yes. There is still very gentle movements that I can see.

I'm hopeful that everything is fine and I'm just being paranoid. Lol

Its a really nervewracking time.
I must have listened to those eggs a thousand times till I heard that clicking for definite!
As long as there's no external pip it's fine to listen. Then once you hear that rhythmic clicking you know it's pipped through into the air cell and you can change humidity. That's what I did anyway.

My daughter has already named the new baby goose so I hope he hatches.

We are fairly certain his name will be me-gusta (me goose ta) lololol

WRV, hard to tell shape of air cell from the picture. But if it does not have the typical dipped appearance, chances are good the gosling is not turned in the proper hatching position, which will make it extremely hard for the gosling to make it out of the shell.

We have geese! One out of egg one half out. And two more w lots of movement today.

It is definitely dipped. Just dipped further than most tbh.

We shall see. I actually looked at my calendar and I didn't set the eggs until the 28th, so today is only day 28.

We will see what tomorrow brings around I guess.
