Crowing
@Cbarr00 after seeing more close up pictures I think RIR or speckled Russian Orloff. Red breeds are really hard to identify.

I’ll join the Newbie Chat! We just started our flock a few days ago. I am already a victim of chicken math. We agreed that 4 would be a good starting number, decided to get 6, ya know, in case we lost a couple. Well that turned into wanting 6, but getting 8, ya know, just in case we lost a couple. Pickup day arrives and we go to get our 8 chicks and lo and behold, we are offered a free chick. So 4 chicks + ?? = 9 chicks!!
2 Light Brahmas
2 Black Australorps
2 Barred Rocks
2+1 EE’s.
5/9 have already been named.

We had a Naked Neck - accidentally. He hatched out of a shipped egg and that egg was labeled “Austrlorp”. We named him Sluf, short for Silly Looking Ugly....Fella. What did you think I was going to say?
The two brown ones with gold around their necks are welsummers, the one up in the right corner is a silver laced Wyandotte, and the rest are EEs!8 weeks old!
