Bad picture alert.

Sue does look a little Runnerish all very precious nice looking area.
They all look very upright - except for the goslings, of course.
Magpies and Buffy's have some Runner in their blood. i see a big difference in the posture of the White Layers and the other ducks. The WL's are already waddling and move like oil-tankers through ice floes, pushing the lighter Buffies and Maggies out of their way.

Duckling update: The weather forced me to to change my status message today!
It is lousy cold here in WV, the wind is howling and really ugly wet and sticky snow is falling from the sky. The ducklings hate winter too!
Due to the bad weather i wasn't able to work on the roof for the duckling's patio and i could not continue to work on Duck Knox - the ladder would just slip and slide down the hill into the creek which has high water right now…
So no video today, but some pictures, first the ducklings are loudly complaining about the weather:
full

This afternoon it looked like a Christmas scene here:
full

I covered one side of their house with a mover's blanket:
full

First they were all afraid of that big dark thing approaching the house, now they have understood that it keeps the wind and the snow out and keeps them warm.
It was so bad here that even the grown-up ducks stayed indoors almost the whole day.
