All adorable.. but that cat :love :th.... and what kind of dog is the little one!?
Dawww...thank you. The cat is definitely a character. See second picture...
Our little dog, Ez, is a yorkie/pomeranian/poodle mix. His fur is like a yorkie's in texture and coloration. He started out all black, except a little white locket (see attached picture), but has faded to this unique grey black.

Thanks for tagging me!

So intro: my name is Monica. Im a stay at home mom turned chicken carer. :gig Last March my then 5 yr old son was obsessed with chickens, we thought it a phase....nope! We finally caved and got him 12 chicks. He loved them, cuddled them, took them on adventures, and got me hooked too! We've rehomed and added since then, but my kiddo has a special bond with all our chickens. He can run and play and they follow him and want his attention, even our big rooster!

I don't like birds, but I have to say this adventure with chickens has changed my tune a bit. At the start of fall we had 18 chickens, we now only have 13 grown ups. A coyote and neighbor dog have been sneaking girls.. So we tried ordering chicks and got all roosters, :barnie but chick days started and I now have 17 babies, 3 four month olds we hatched, and our 13 adults. Waiting for the ground to dry a bit before finishing up the new large run.

Here's some pics!

All our remaining girls. It's been raining almost nonstop till this morning, so everything is a mess!

I just posted this in my intro and thought I'd cross-post it here too. Got a few pictures of the girls today! They chose a new spot for a community dust bath and were very proud of themselves. (DH's comment is "3 phase chickens" ... a little electrical engineering humor for you :plbb .) Poor Plucky (the reddish hen) is missing some feathers from a recent close encounter with a very bold fox.

Well, have anymore hatched ?
I love that little white one!
Unfortunately it didn't all go to plan and one of the chicks died on day 18 of incubation, the other egg is due to hatch on Monday. The white chick is named Frances or Fran for short.
