I candled again today a few other of the eggs and we're on track for day 18 for about 5 of them, so i went ahead and put everyone on the floor of incubator, took out tray and the turn dial, and poured in as much water i could with a sponge piece at side to help keep humidity up since we're pretty dry here. :fl :fl :fl :pop:pop:pop:pop now the nail biting wait. I'm only worried about one as it has a slipped air cell that is down by the small end. but everyone looks good even the waxed egg. That one i'm leaving waxed for now i've read the chicks can get through it no issues, so we'll see!

Happy Mother's Day tomorrow to all the mommies and hen mommies out there!!!
Super exciting!

I got out and played with the little ones today... I didn't get video of it but I gave them their first carrots. 🤣 They thought it was acid rain. :gig

But I got some photos of them and the big flock. :)

We love pecking at mom's feet and making her jump...

I'm keeping an eye on them and hoping no more losses! So far so good!

And still on the waiting game for the eggs.
