Rubbermaid 100 gallon Structural Foam Stock Tank from Tractor Supply creates an excellent brooder for chicks. I just put these chicks in mine, today.

Couldn't figure out how to get rid of the quoted text monikers when I replied, apologies! New at this. BUT, this chick waterer with adjustable legs is THE BEST!

We had turkey poults and chicken chicks in the brooder together (for company, since our mixed flock is small), but the poults grew so fast they were a bit clumsy and kept spilling or fouling the original chick waterer. This larger, adjustable model worked well for ALL our babies from banty to standard to poult all the way thru to being fully integrated into the coop with the adult birds.

Update: now available in green -- which I would have picked had it been available at the time, since it would have matched the old one -- but they figured it out pretty quickly, since it was in the same place :)
Welcome to BYC! That water looks perfect for all of the different sized birds.

This would be my last attempt at convincing my ducks that I am one of them so that I could infiltrate their flock.... now I just have to figure out how to say in duck language,
"IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK, AND TALKS LIKE A DUCK....."
