I have a few of these on hand. My reason; Sometimes we do have a power outage due to snow/ice breaking power lines, And of course all the other reasons power goes out. I slip these into the rooms that need to be accessed at night. These run on batteries that can be replaced. LED lights do run a long time, since they do not draw much current
