24 THINGS HEADED FOR EXTINCTION IN AMERICA

I wonder how many of those things may see a return since our economy is in such a bad state.
Personally, I do not have a cell phone, I really don't want to be available 24/7. My landline and answering machine work just fine, and is way cheaper and no overages!

We still have a small family farm, as do DH's parents, theirs is much bigger then ours!

I also send handwritten letters, they are so much more personal, and I really appreciate the effort when someone takes the time to write me. Email and ims have their place, but they should not replace the personal touch.
It would really be nice if corperate coruption, made in China,pollution....ect, would become extint

Oh, that is a sad, sad list. I grew up on a family farm and sort of hoped to instill at least one of my many children with the responsibility and pride of a continuing the tradition. I miss drive-ins....

If we family farms disappear the big conglomerates who take over will be able to afford to hold their products off the market to raise prices. You think a trip to the grocery store costs a lot now, just wait until they're in control.

Reminder: Horses, honeybees, blue crabs.... are not "things"...they are living creatures.

I hate that because of us human beings alone, soo many species of animals are going endangered/extinct.

Dumb humans....

But anyway, I'm glad that the older light bulbs, mumps/measles, etc. are going away.

What I would really like to go away are:
factory farm cruelty

loggers who cut down rainforest trees
sad.png

people who are cruel to animals

etc....

And it's too bad the wild horses are going away. Let me guess; because ranchers need land for their cows to eat so they will get fattened up, and wild horses are eating off that land and not leaving "enough" for the ranchers?

Very sad to think what the human race has destroyed over the millions of years....

Most things like the crabs, ham raido, and ash trees would be very sad to lose but the bees in my opinion would be the worst to lose because a whole bunch of crops grown in the U.S. are polinated by bees. Lots of crops would probably fail and food would be more expencive because the crops would not be there for us.

And I wish that there were more family farms. They are waaaay more natural and usually waaay more human than factory farms.

Also, eggs that are farm-fresh come from happy hens(usually).
