I'm so jealous! I have two Cream Legbars and am waiting for those blue eggs at present. One is developing a red comb but the other one is still pale. I'm hoping for a New Year's surprise!

I have a CCL/swedish flower mix that looks really close, My CCL is a few weeks younger so I don't anticipate one from her til after new years, but tell me that Esther Looks near! Here's a pic! No squatting yet, but I keep checking anyway! (she's the one with the big comb and wattles in case you couldn't guess. Duchess my CCL is behind her in the coop.)

She looks very ready to me, nice full red comb and wattles. Not all of my girls who started laying all squatted. I only had a handful who squatted. Just by her comb it looks like it could be anytime. My girls all got plump red combs weeks before lay
