2nd try :) might still be too young

Is the beak okay, the tip of it looks like it was injured or cut?
Yes it injured its beak- chick vet says it’s looking good- I’m glad it didn’t happen on my watch - but now my friend who was watching it has overcompensated and is carrying it around in her scarf- I think she wants to keep my peeper! If so I’ll watch for an older chicken to round out my flock

she is so CUTE. My chicken whelper had to go so she's in hte house with me and my 4 terriers for a couple days. The dogs are not happy at all. LOL got some super cute pics though. she's growing fast and has the cutest little tail feathers now. just 2 poking out yesterday, today 3 or 4.

I'm seeing a little bit of dark on the very top of her head too.... also not positive its a her, just being hopeful :) Do you think her legs are turning orange? or are they still yellow?

While the breed may still be a mystery, I have a sneaking suspicion that this chick is a cockerel.

I think it's 2 weeks now. but I'll trust your evaluation. We will see! I got it dec 21 and most think it was 2-3 days a week at most
its sure getting cute little tail feathers and is very good at preening
