2nd try :) might still be too young

My neighbor works there and they observed a family leaving after a visit to a grave then noticed feathers all over the place and when they went over to investigate they found a paper bag w holes in it left on the grave and could hear peeping- it was the chick so he brought it to me. The chick already knows how to follow tapping. The laser be is next- I’m a dog trainer and in 2000 I took bob Baileys chicken camp which traces you how to clicker train animals. We taught the chickens to do an agility course - the chickens had not learned clicker training before that. I’m after w a word than a clicker so the chicken gets a yes! And a worm or treat for doing a desired behavior

That’s amazing how you’re able to train chickens all that.
Are you keeping that chick in your house ? Does it not poop everywhere ? Maybe you know how to potty train it aswell ?

Also the feathers everywhere? That’s kind of strange.... maybe the mother got killed by a predator and the chick found its way into a paper bag from the trauma of it all.
I highly doubt a visiting family threw feathers all over the place and dumped a chick in a paper bag there.

The chick is at my friends house who keeps it in a crate w a heat lamp- most often it’s riding around in her scarf- the cats don’t even bother it. She has a house rooster named mr Martinez who hangs out inside but has an aviary outside to play in during the day. He sleeps inside in a crate by the dogs.

As for the abandonment workers were right across from where the feathers got dumped and chick left inside bag doing a service so they could stop the people leaving as they were in process of a burial for another family.

When the chick is old enough it will move in w my hens - I just added a bachelor pad wing and made a coop out of a doghouse. Lots of room 11 x 4 and 6 feet high fully enclosed. It is attached to the ladies house w a gate so I can let them all roam together or separate. They house is 3 x 7.5 with a 25 x 2 run with the 6’ wire top . Look up bob bailey chicken camp- many of the dog trainers I know take a seminar. It helps you learn positive reinforcement techniques in a fun way

Not sure why an extra bachelor pad pic showed up- oh wee

And someone asked about chick poop at my friends house she just picks it up promptly and uses a cleaner

Try 3! Thinking @Cypress keeps their winning record - I for sure see red in the comb and near the wattles- and the tail feathers are pointy not smooth and rounded- all different signs per online research- anyone disagree?
