Mini silkies?? Silkies are bantams, so they are smaller than a larger sized chicken, but I don't think there's such a thing as a, "mini silkie." And some are smaller than others. I have a 3 year old silkie hen who looks the size of a pullet.
As fas as your injured chick, check her foot and make sure there's nothing sticking her. She could have just hurt it a little--just allow her plenty of rest, food, and water. Keep an eye on here and make sure she can get to food and water okay. I like to make a wet mash for injured chicks--which is just wet feed. They can peck at it more easily. But make sure to change it daily, so it doesn't spoil. Keep us posted...
