Boy, they do grow quickly! Wynette's crew are feathering in already! Soooo perdy!
Here are pictures from today. See, ya all are lucky, most of the pictures turned out blurry, or I'd have more! LOL

Kira's babies are HUGE! And don't think just because of that, you have a cockerel, either. Cetawin's fat little one that we were sure was a cockerel, is a big girl.

Kira is a year and a half old, while the other four are Ike's age. That's one reason her eggs are so much larger than most of the others. And her chicks are so big, sometimes, they have big trouble getting out of their eggs.

So, you ended up with 15 delawares? And that one chick is definitely large! Congrats!

They are precious and boy are you in for some fun. Just having two of Ike's babies kept me hoping...still do at almost 9 weeks old.

Just this morning when I opened the door to their little coop, Cannonball jumped from the corner of it and hit me right in the chest 3' away just to be held. She is a mess! Fattie was right behind her.

Speckledhen is correct about the fat one being a girl too...Kira's baby was the biggest at hatch...even bigger than the Suede babies. Then there was cannonball...who shot out of the egg into the side of the bator...nearly gave me heart failure.
