3 week old chick

I've seen various threads now and I think you'll still need more time to be sure. It probably is too much red and size to be a pullet though

how far back on the head does the comb go?

keep an eye on leg thickness. are there any visible wattles?
the comb seems to go back pretty far judging by photo. too late to go look now. leg thickness isn't much different than sister from another mother! haha! and his tiny little wattles are turning red as well!

They are fine, spoiled but fine, yesterday i decided to let themm taste pomergrante for the first time and they enjoyed it for a full 10 seconds and then turned their beak up, lol they didnt actually turn their beak up, they had a contest of who could throw the seed the furthest.
Here are the latest pictures that i have taken:

They arent very good pictures but you get the idea...
Ther are both roos...
how old are these babies?

Oh ha ha, how ungrateful of them

.
Did you say you can keep Roos?

I'll have to take a picture of my little one tomorrow. Because he's mostly buff, he's very fluffy which gives him more of a pullet shape.
Yep, i can keep as many roos as i want, which is very good because i have lots, 8 already out of 24 chicks.
I didnt get a very good pic of the black one, i will have to take some more again anyway so i will post them here.

how old are these babies?
THey are a month and 22 days, they are really big because, like i said they are spoiled so i give them boiled egg in the morning and chick starter mixed with corn whenever their bowl is empty.
The reason they are so spoiled is because they are the closest chicks to the house so it is easy to feed them, the yellow ones brothers and sisters are much smaller than him though...

yea, we are looking for homes, while crossing our fingers! haha! always optimistic!
I am not sure that it is a roo, i mean my chicks combs are much bigger than yours...
How old are they now, one of my batches of chicks will be that old so we can compare.

Oh wow, he has gotten big and very cute! :D
My chicks combs and waddles are much bigger than yours and they are younger...
They must be a different breed...

aha thanks. hes very fluffy which makes him look nearly the same size as our small hens.

yours are very handsome. The wattles look a similar size to me though.

Yeah, the waddles do, i guess i just thought because the comb was bigger than the waddles would be too, i didnt actually look at the picture...

aha yes. The comb isn't sticking out too much but sadly there are those big wattles. Never mind. between the 3 of us we haven't done to well have we.
