im in altoona paWhat part of PA?!?!?!? I am in PA near Philadelphia and its 30-40's all week except a low of 18 just 1 day!!!! Is the Pittsburg side of PA really that much colder?? WOW!
Absolutely!! Use all the proper safety precautions and do the best with what you have is what I say! I am very lucky to have the option to bring mine in the garage for a short time until this cold passes.I run heat because they aren't really accustom to cold. i have tarps the whole way around their outside run area and as i said they have a 5x 10 and 4 ft high duck house so they have a shelter i just didnt know if the negative temps that cold would be to much for them to be outside in an enclosed area...they made it through negative 20 already but i figured negative 30 would be way to coldThat's crazy! I didn't think PA had too much of a weather difference from side to side. Try to block winds and give them something or somewhere warm to sleep!
Last year I put mine under the house for almost a week!Mine are coming in the garage!!! I don’t want to have to work in it and they shouldn’t have to sleep in it either! I had to do this last year for about 3 days
