i put a towel over the the first hatched. kept her nice and quiet for a day...Okay, for the record, unless you will be with it 24/7, DO NOT plan to have a lone chick. She's been peeping all day. We're getting two EE chicks for her, just so she'll stop going crazy.
Oh gosh, I haven't updated in forever! We have no power still since Hurricane Ida swept through almost 3 days ago. I took the remaining eggs to our friends' house which has power. Hoping they'll hatch, but they got down to about 77 degrees F when the power went out. They looked alive when I candled them before setting them again, but they were cold.I’m back! Lost this thread because notifications decided to quit on me :/
