Okay, for the record, unless you will be with it 24/7, DO NOT plan to have a lone chick. She's been peeping all day. We're getting two EE chicks for her, just so she'll stop going crazy.

i put a towel over the the first hatched. kept her nice and quiet for a day...

EEs acquired I'll post pics later, they have been christened Beyonce and Solange.

Tuffet (the original d'Uccle) is being extremely annoying and pecking at eyes, tails, etc. B&S do not care. They're very friendly!

The dark brown egg that I really wanted to develop stopped developing Oh well. The other 3 are still alive, but the aircells are too small. I'll try to post pics later.

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick, I did an eggtopsy on the dark egg and everything had coagulated into little pockets of fleshy bits. It must have quit really early. Good thing I did it outside, it smelled real funky.

I also have decided to run the incubator dry for a few days to get the aircells bigger. It's at 28% humidity right now, lower than my house Bator says 8 days left, math says 9 days. I'm confused LOL

Oh gosh, I haven't updated in forever! We have no power still since Hurricane Ida swept through almost 3 days ago. I took the remaining eggs to our friends' house which has power. Hoping they'll hatch, but they got down to about 77 degrees F when the power went out. They looked alive when I candled them before setting them again, but they were cold.

Supposed to hatch in 2 days.
